At the end of January 2018 I finally decided to play their first game and by the time I finished I was downloading all of the Cube Escape series and finished them all within two weeks. I had always meant to try out their games but I was always so busy with school or co-op that I never got around to it. With their latest release of Paradox, I figured I’d give a brief synopsis and my personal opinion on every game they’ve released thus far. One group of developers I like the most is Rusty Lake, who are famous for the Cube Escape series and the fictional world of Rusty Lake. For me, I don’t just play random adventure games if I like one game from a particular developer, I will stay devoted to that developer, regardless if the app is free or paid. I play most of my games on my iPhone, which are generally much cheaper than buying them for Nintendo or Playstation or even on the computer. I mentioned in an earlier post that I got my love of escape rooms from playing point-n-click adventure games where you have to find clues within the game to help you solve several puzzles that will allow you to advance further.
